iDevices of interactive activities

To present questionnaires of different types of questions (with feedback and results) you will have these iDevices:

  • True-false question: proposes one (or several) questions that must be answered with "True" or "False".
  • Multi choice question: proposes one (or several) multiple choice questions to the student. Each of the questions can only have a correct answer.
  • Multi select question: proposes one (or several) test questions to the student. Each of the questions may have more than one correct answer.
  • SCORM Questionnaire: proposes one (or several) test questions to the student. It is similar in terms of operation to the iDevice "Multiple choice question" but allows communication with an LMS (Moodle), obtaining activity tracking data that indicate whether the exam has been approved or not.
  • Cloze Activity: it offers the student a text with blank spaces that must be completed. Includes the possibility of feedback.
  • DropDown Activity: it proposes to the student a text with a list of possible chains of words that must be selected.

Contents that evaluate by Jose Miguel Andonegi

At the time of making content there are those who are very concerned about including evaluative elements (questionnaires, animations in which a problem must be solved, ...). If you are one of those people, eXeLearning is not your tool although you can do some things.

You will only find one component that register the mark: the SCORM questionnaire. You can include a single exercise per page, with several questions in each exercise and it will only work if you upload your content to an LMS (Moodle)

In eXeLearning you will find a series of components (iDevices) for questions:

     Cloze activity
     Multiple choice question
     Multiple-choice question
     True-false question
     DropDown activity

But, how should these questions be used? and is it really necessary to create content that evaluates?
