Multi choice question

Use this iDevice to propose one (or several) test questions to the learner. Each of the questions has one correct answer. It allows us to introduce several types of feedback that will be seen by the learner when the activities are completed or as hints to perform them. This type of activities let the learner check for themseves the assimilation of material worked on.

When selecting "Multiple choice question" from the list of iDevices this will be shown in your eXeLearning:

At the top, you can modify the title of the iDevice.

In the "Question" field write the text of the question. The statement should be clear. You will avoid negative premises since they tend to be ambiguous.

In the "Suggestion" field provide some clue that helps the student to correctly ansyour the question. You can leave the field blank.

In the "Option" field write the text with the available response options. Mark in the button to the right of the field the option that is correct.

You can add options by clicking the "Add another option" button. It will always be advisable to offer a range of between 3 and 4 response options.

In the "Feedback" field you will write the feedback that you want readers to see after doing the activity. If you leave the field empty, the default feedback will be offered.

You can add new questions in the iDevice by clicking the "Add another question" button.

Practice eXeLearning: create a multiple choice question

Try the following procedures:

  1. Open the file myfile2.elp that you created in the previous activity (You can double click on it).
  2. Create an iDevice "Multiple choice question" in the "Questions" node. Modify the title.
  3. In the field "Question" link a pdf file.
  4. Create three questions in the same iDevice, each with three possible response options.
  5. Once finished, click on the button to see the result.
  6. Save the changes. (File> Save)
