World Biomes

A biome is a group of ecosystems which have the same weather, rainfall, plants or animals. They are distributed around the world and they have different names and characteristics.

We are going to investigate about the different world Biomes we can find around the world and show our investigations in an interactive presentation. In the following links we can find investigation to find characteristics of each world biome:

Let's choose four of the world biomes and create a presentation explaining and comparing them. The presentation will include:

  • The definition of Biome.
  • The four Biomes. Each one should include:
    • Title.
    • Picture.
    • Where is it?
    • Three characteristics.
  • In the last slide or part of the presentation you have to compare the four biomes among them: their temperatures, humidity, extension, etc, ...

Thinking about my learning

It is time to reflect about your learning today. Remind that everyday at the end of each lesson we will write on your Learning Diary asking the following questions:

  • What have I done?
  • What problems did I have? How did I solve these problems?
  • What have I learnt?
  • How can I improve my learning for the next lesson?

Our teacher will check it and give to us some feedback to help our improvements.
