Storytelling is a powerful communication tool and helps students remember lessons and virtues that they will use in everyday life.

The idea behind the production of the story of Frieda was to simplify the lessons of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Therefore, students can relate to ( and better understand) the SDG. Follow Frieda's journey through her home in Windhoek, Namibia. By reading this book, you will learn about protecting life on land, the importance of water, the environment, and more!

In teams, read the story Frieda's Journey aloud and make a list with ideas to meet the SDG.

Expanding your vocabulary knowledge

Vocabulary is an essential part in foreign language learning because it  helps to develop  language skills, therefore, listening, speaking, reading, and writing are  easier to perform.

In order to encourage your friends, parents and family to act and to make the world better for all of us, make a digital comic strip of what you can do to implement the SDG similar to the following Global Goals comic strip. You can have a look at the full comic: THE PLANET AND THE 17 GOALS drawn by Margreet de Heer where you can have access to the power point of the comic which is free to use.

Don't forget that the  rubric to assess a comic strip  will help you know how to do a great job (download in editable odt format, download in pdf).
