Ontario Science Centre

Arriving at the end of our journey!

Our journey to the city of Toronto finishes at The Ontario Science Centre. It is a family oriented attraction with quite a lot of interesting exhibits to entertain children. It was designed by the architect Raymond Moriyama and this modern building was completed in 1969.

Visitors to the centre can see the latest developments in technology, telecommunications, optics, biology, physics, space travel and meteorology presented in an imaginative way. Visitors have to participate with many interactive displays.

At the end of the session, you will have:

visited The Ontario Science Centre in Toronto.
listened to a conversation about cool things you can do in Montréal.
reflected on all the different tasks you have worked on at the Learning Diary.

Visit the Ontario Science centre's official website and take a look at all the different sections it has.

Canada is a huge country full of wonderful cities as you have stated in this project. One of them is Montréal, on the east side of the country.

Listen to the conversation and answer the questions and the quiz to check that you have understood properly. After that, you can also check it with the help of the transcript. Your teacher can help you with all these activities.

Your challenge: Toronto at the Google Site

Challenge Step 6: List of all links and images you have used in your project.

To finish your Google Site project about Toronto, add a new page where you and your group have to add the complete list of links that you have used throughout your research.

You also have to add a complete gallery of all the images that you have used in your Google Site project about Toronto.

Step 8: Posting your Toronto Site and every audio / video outcome produced

Remember to post the 'Toronto sites' and the audio / videos you have recorded to your personal Learning Diary. That way, at the end of all the projects, you are going to have a wonderful portfolio of all the materials you will have produced individually, in pairs and collaboratively in groups.

Final Step: Complete revision of the project

At this moment, you have to reflect on all the different tasks you have gone through this project.
