You are going to develope the key competences and the specific competences (multilingualism and interculturality, oral and written comprehension, oral and written expression, oral and written interaction and  oral and written mediation) at the same time you learn the alphabet, numbers, greetings, the verb 'to be' and 'to have got', present simple (basic knowledge), vocabulary related to school supplies, birthday party, Halloween, family,  feelings, fruits and vegetables, sustainability, planets, parts of the body, verbs of actions, Christmas, etc.

You are going to do different tasks (individually, in pairs and in groups) to be able to do the final challenge.

The project is introduced to the students. 

At the end, they will get an identification card of monsters.

The students

  • are going to learn school supplies by watching a video, singing and playing.
  • are going to pick up 5 things and they are going to say aloud their names and colours.
  • are going to count the school supplies they have in their pencil box.
  • are going to learn to distinguish singular and plural words.

The students

  • are going to sing the alphabet to learn English phonics.
  • are going to write down all the words they learn singing the alphabet in English and they are going to translate them into different languages.
  • are going to memorise them playing a game of classification.

1st MISSION: painting themselves as a monster and describing the monster they painted. First, they will read the description of Miss Green and will watch a video to know monsters’ descriptions. They have videos to review or learn the parts of the body.

The students

  • are going to learn school supplies by watching a video, singing and playing.
  • are going to pick up 5 things and they are going to say aloud their names and colours.
  • are going to count the school supplies they have in their pencil box.
  • are going to learn to distinguish singular a plural words.
  • The students are going to discover when Miss Green birthday is.
  • They are going to learn the days of the week, months of the year with gamification
  • They are going to learn to count from 1 to 30.

2nd MISSION: creating a birthday invitation.

The students;

  • are going to watch a video and they are going to sing to learn words related to Halloween.
  • are going to talk about Halloween costumes.
  • are going to help the teacher to calm down a classmate who is scared.
  • are going to sing the song Don’t you worry by Black Eyed Peas, Shakira and David Guetta.

3rd MISSION: creating a puppet of Halloween and decorating the class.

The students:

  • are going to watch a video and sing to learn feelings and emotions and active verbs.
  • are going to learn the new vocabulary with gamification.
  • are going to identify friends’ problems by watching a video and answering comprehension questions.

4th MISSION: writing a sorry letter. First, they read an example.

The students:

  • are going to learn the vocabulary fruits, vegetables and the indefinite articles a and an with gamification.
  • are going to learn to express the fruits and vegetables they like.
  • Are going to watch a video to know the vegetables their teachers like and they are going to answer questions of comprehension.
  • are going to ask and answer questions to discover the fruits and vegetables their classmates like (bingle mingle game)

The students:

  • are going to learn vocabulary related to the universe and sustainability.
  • are going to discover where their teachers are from.
  • are going to know the 2030 Agenda and its SDG by watching videos.
  • are going to create an Identification Card by reading Miss Green’s IDCard and  creating their own.

Final Challenge: creating a poster of a specific SDG, presenting it in order to learn to find free images and mentioning ideas to help to meet their SDG.

The students:

  • are going to learn vocabulary related to Christmas singing songs.
  • are going explain the reasons they like Christmas and what they do with their family.
  • are going to sing Christmas Carols.

Extra MISSION: creating a Christmas card. First, they read an example and then, they create they own.
