The project is introduced to the students.
At the end, they will get a certificate of participation and a recognition of their outstanding abilities.
- The students will get a letter from the School of Wizards to go to study there and they wil learn its structure.
- In pairs, the students will choose to stay in the school or to go and come back every day.
- They will review and will learn new vocabulary related to:
- means of transport
- wizards with gamification
- They will study the present simple and adverbs of frequency
- They will practice the pronunciation of does and doesn't and the vocabulary related to wizards
The students will know:
- Drogo, the headmaster of the school by listening to him giving the welcome to the school and congratulating them.
- Anika, their first day guide by reading information about her.
They will practice the pronunciation of is /isn't /are and aren't.
The new student will read two emails with photos from the classmates of the School of Wizards.
The students will learn adjectives to describe personality by gamification and will practice its pronunciation.
They will have to do their 1st mission: introducing themselves with a digital presentation with 5 photos explaining what they are doing in each picture and will send it by email to their new classmates.
The students will:
- choose their outfit for the first day of class.
- review and learn new vocabulary related to clothes and accessories by gamification and will practice its pronunciation.
They will need to pack their luggage: oral agreement and make a list.
They will have to do the 2nd mission: creating their own avatar.
The students will:
- discover their subjects by gamification and will organise their schedule explaining the reason to use 'because'.
- watch a video about the 2030 Agenda to know its SDG. They will explain with their own words actions to meet them and will debate about ideas to work in each subject.
They will have to do the 3rd mission: Internet investigation for ideas to meet the 2030 Agenda in each subject.
The students will:
- know their teachers with gamification.
- study the past simple of the verb 'to be' and they will practice the pronunciation of was /wasn't /were and weren't
- They will learn the past simple or the regular verb 'to work'
They will have to do the 4th MISSION: designing a digital poster about a teacher from an ordinary school.
They will review the present simple and continous with gamification.
They will help the headmaster by translating a voice message from the new student's parents and will answer them back to solve parents' doubts with the previous explanation Drogo.
They will have to do the Final Challenge: designing an infographic with relevant information for new students.
