ACTIVITY 1: Are these clichés about the French true?

Watch the video Cliché! French version.Work individually on a listening comprehension exercise prepared in advance by the teacher (e.g., true/false questions). A debate about French stereotypes can also be held to check students’ understanding of the video.

Make a list of 10 “les apparences, les clichés” that you can find in the book Monsieur Ibrahim et les fleurs du Corán by E. Schmmit.

ACTIVITY 3: Essai. (300 mots) Les apparence et les préjugés dans l’œuvre de M. Ibrahim et les fleurs du Coran.

We suggest the following heading (it can be adapted based on the readings completed during the course regarding appearances and prejudices):
