Session 2

Do you want to participate in an eTwinning project? What are your areas of interest?

SESSION 2

The reflections from Activity 1 in Session 1 are revisited. Ideas and thoughts about poetry, music, diversity and stereotypes are shared in-person in the classroom, giving students in both Spain and France the chance to think about whether they want to participate in an eTwinning project and which topics they would like to explore. Students work in groups to reflect, negotiate, debate, present arguments and reach decisions with shared objectives. This process can be done on the TwinSpace forums or using a tool like the one suggested in the resources section of this session. The idea is that this reflection is done by each school and then there is a sharing to reach a consensus on a single project topic.

ACTIVITY 1: Sharing: Brainstorming and mind mapping in Spain

During the French teacher’s first visit to Spain, the Spanish students present their ideas for topics they would like to work on. If the project is only intended to be an eTwinning project, these topics can be presented using the videoconferencing tool available on TwinSpace instead. The French students will do exactly the same, sharing their own proposals.

ACTIVITY 2: Sharing: Brainstorming and mind mapping in France

French students present their ideas for topics they would like to work on to their teacher in class, without knowing what the Spanish students have proposed.
