DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY

This activity is aimed at raising awareness and educating children in Early Childhood Education on important cross-cutting issues like ecology and sustainability. All the sessions promote carrying out an international collaborative activity that involves several schools. Working in mixed international teams and collaborating within each classroom group adds value. Therefore, while respecting diversity and cultural exchange, this activity promotes environmental awareness through respectful proposals, collaborative learning and the creative use of technology.

ACTIVITY OBJECTIVES:

  •  Promoting environmental awareness in Early Childhood Education students, introducing them to basic concepts in ecology and sustainability thanks to reflections and activities focused on respectful actions that include recycling, water consumption and taking care of animals and forests
  • Developing collaborative and communication skills, working in mixed international teams, creating digital outputs and respecting the ideas and opinions of others
  • Participating in online voting, accepting the overall results determined by the entire student body involved in the activities
