A Learning diary will help you to develop your linguistic competence and  your autonomy in the learning process of English. Therefore, we encourage you to write your own reflections.  In order to do it, you will have to create your own  blog or  google site. Name it with your nickname and add the word CHANGEMAKER (ex. Here you have the first questions to answer:

  • Do  you think the tasks will relate to your interests?
  • Can you compare the content with the previous knowledge you have?
  • How can you apply the content in your daily life?

Engineering for sustainable development

We can say that Engineering helps to reach some goals of the 2030 Agenda  but we also could say that without it, it would be impossible to meet them.

  • Individually, read the following readings published in 2021 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizatio.
  • Write down all the words you do not know in a little notebook and look for their definition in a dictionary in order to create your own sustainability dictionary or glossary. Also add thier pronunciation (phonetcis)
  • Do the same  with all the new words along this project.

With all the information you have acquired, think and tell your classmate what will you do if you were an engineering in order to meet the five  global goals of this project.

Learning Diary

Now, write in your learning diary your reflections.

  • What aspects or tasks are the most important in this project?
  • What do I expect to learn throughout this work project?
  • What is the final product?
  • How are we going to get organized in the classroom?
  • What tasks do I have to do before the final challenge?
  • What subjects do yo think are going to be involved in this project apart from English?
  • How are you going to be evaluated?
